Yin Yoga is a practice that each and everyone of us can benefit from doing. What makes it different from other well-known kinds of yoga like Hatha or Vinyasa is that Yin is a slow-paced yoga in which we practice mainly sitting and lying down poses that are held for several minutes.
By doing so, we target the deeper tissues than muscles such as bones, ligaments and joints particularly in the hips, shoulders and spine areas. Having healthy joints is a clue for an improved flexibility and a good mobility.
